Spa Grand Prix Weekend Review
Spa Grand Prix Weekend Review Overall, we had a fantastic Spa Grand Prix weekend, but there were a few disappointments that future customers should be aware of. When I booked with Global, I was under the impression that the campsite would be located at or very close to the circuit. Unfortunately, the day before we were due to travel, we received an email advising that the campsite had been "moved" to a different location. While it was advertised as being around a 25-minute walk from the track, the reality was closer to 45–60 minutes, with a significant downhill walk to the circuit and an even tougher uphill walk back each evening after the Grand Prix. The accommodation itself was excellent. The tent was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the toilet and shower facilities were clean, modern, and very well maintained throughout the weekend. One downside was the lack of basic essentials available to purchase on-site. There were no toiletries and very few snacks available, which proved inconvenient for anyone who had forgotten to pack something. The food was very good overall. Complimentary coffee at breakfast was a nice touch, although it was disappointing that coffee had to be paid for later in the day. I was also surprised to be charged €4 for a small cup of boiling water, which seemed excessive. The staff were one of the highlights of the experience. Every member of the team was friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. Parking was also well organised and easy to access. Despite the campsite location and a few minor issues, we had a brilliant weekend. Global's customer service also deserves recognition—they were quick to respond to email enquiries, usually within a couple of hours, which made planning and resolving questions much easier. Overall, I'd happily recommend Global for the quality of the campsite, facilities, staff, and organisation, but I do think customers should be made fully aware of the campsite location before booking.

Easy to buy and good communication. A bit laborious downloading to the app but would be easy a second time around. Ticket location disappointing. Sold as pole position but was unable to see pole position as too far away. Would not make the same choice. So overall disappointed with the seats. Fine with everything else

Mixed feelings……
The hotel (Innside Melia) was very nice. I do wish we had known that breakfast was available earlier than communicated for race day. The transportation to and from the race was great. The buses were comfortable, and both days we left the track a lot faster than expected. However, communication on everything else was sorely lacking. Global tickets says there will be a concierge on site to answer our questions but ours was never seen by anyone. There was supposed to be a “social meet and greet” at another hotel, but when we got there we learned it was just to ask questions (which would have been answered if our rep had ever been present at our hotel). We finally met her as we were getting on the bus on Saturday, but she did not instill any confidence in her knowledge or abilities. I’m not sure that Global Tickets lived up to the hype.
