As our pioneer event manager (m/f/d) in the field of camping/glamping, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement an exciting new project from scratch together with us.
On the one hand, as an event manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the operational and commercial planning of camping/ glamping areas at various motorsport events, on the other hand, you will ensure the smooth running of your projects on site.
Your Job
- You take charge of the project "camping/glamping " independently and on take responsibility
- You coordinate the organizational processes of camping/glamping before the event, e.g., you schedule the service providers and plan the assembly and dismantling of the camping/glamping area
- You develop and implement business cases for new glamping projects with the support of our financial controller and/or department head
- You apply stock-, and yield management during the sales period and make sure your camping/glamping products are perfectly displayed in our online web shop
- You negotiate with suppliers regarding grounds, sanitary facilities, food and beverage, waste management and personnel planning
- You independently conduct price negotiations with property owners and take ownership of the related contracting
- You manage the camping areas on-site and ensure that everything runs smoothly. With your hands on and flexible attitude you are a quick problem solver
- Leading and appointing the assigned staff
- Representing Global-Tickets on-site
Your Profile
- You have a bachelor’s degree towards tourism, event management, international business of comparable
- You have at least 1 year of relevant experience in the event sector, ideally in the field of camping, glamping, or festivals
- You have already planned and coordinated at least one event project from start to finish
- You are a real hands-on type and like to take on responsibility
- You love the variety between practical and organizational tasks
- You enjoy the change between the event location and our Groningen office
- You are willing to travel and have a flexible schedule
- You are highly organized, solution-oriented and have a strategic approach, at the same time, you are creative and always have a cool idea ready
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbally and are either fluent in Dutch or German
